The work

Care for the garden you have.

  • Garden tidy-ups
  • Lawn and plant care
  • Hedges and planted borders
  • Ongoing garden maintenance by arrangement

Start by showing David your garden as it is today. Wide photographs of the lawn, beds and access points are helpful, along with closer photographs of the areas needing attention. Explain whether you want a once-off tidy-up or would like to discuss a regular care arrangement.

A garden plan that fits your space.

Every garden has different needs. Talk through the areas to be cared for, the work to be done on each visit and the timing that suits you. Access, tools, materials and the handling of garden cuttings should be agreed as part of the job. David will confirm which tasks he can take on and provide a price for the agreed work.

What to send with your enquiry

Include your suburb, approximate garden size and any access restrictions when you enquire. Mention pets, gates and any plants that need particular care. For ongoing maintenance, explain how frequently you would like help so availability and a workable routine can be discussed.

Lawn care, hedge trimming and regular garden maintenance.

Lawn mowing and edging enquiries

Show the size of the lawn, the current grass height and the edges that need attention. Mention slopes, steps and narrow gates, as well as access to any equipment already at the property. Agree the mowing and edging scope, tools and handling of clippings with David. An overgrown lawn may need a different first visit from routine care.

Hedge trimming and garden borders

For hedges, include photographs showing the length, height and access on both sides. For planted borders, identify the plants you want to keep and the areas needing weeding or tidying. Describe the result you want before any cutting starts. David will confirm suitable work and the equipment needed; tall trees and specialist tree work are outside this general garden-care enquiry.

Regular garden maintenance by arrangement

A regular visit works best with a clear task list: lawn care, borders, hedges and the areas to tidy afterwards. Tell David your preferred weekly, fortnightly or other schedule so he can confirm availability. Agree whether the first visit needs extra work, what routine visits include and how seasonal changes or extra tasks will be priced.

Once-off garden cleanups in Cape Town

Scope before price

What shapes your garden services quote?

A once-off garden tidy-up and a regular care visit are different jobs. Start with the current condition of the garden and the result you want from the visit.

Garden size and condition

Send wide photographs of lawns, hedges and planted beds. Point out overgrown areas and anything that needs particular attention.

Tasks and frequency

Separate lawn care, hedge work and border care in your brief. For recurring visits, agree the tasks and visit frequency rather than assuming every task happens each time.

Cuttings, tools and access

Agree who provides any tools or materials and how garden waste will be handled. Mention narrow gates, steps, pets and access restrictions.

Confirm whether waste handling is included, the work expected on each visit, the price and availability. Do not assume refuse removal is part of a garden-care quote.

Before you book
